In addition to its top rating for total value index, the 2011 Hyundai Sonata has also been named the 2011 International Car of the Year, says Alexandria Hyundai.
There is no question that the 2011 Hyundai Sonata is getting praise from all its critics in addition to the praise of Alexandria Hyundai drivers. New awards and titles for the Sonata are announced almost weekly. The Sonata just scored the highest ever on the Strategic Vision Total Value Index. The Sonata won both the Special Total Value award and the 2011 International Car of the Year.
The International Car of the Year award is based on how a car is compatible for the lifestyles of drivers and the car meets the needs and goals of consumers. Alexandria Hyundai drivers agree that the 2011 Sonata is perfect for driving both in Alexandria and on longer road trips.
“With a completely new look for 2011, the Sonata really took us by surprise,” said Courtney Caldwell, ICOTY Executive Producer. “Hyundai laces the new Sonata with serious hardware including sporty suspension tuning and a strong powertrain that achieves best-in-class fuel economy scores. Combine that with a stunning shape and design, it truly is a complete package that will satisfy the emotional connection consumers seek when shopping for a mid-size sedan.”
If that is not impressive enough, the 2011 Sonata also scored the highest out of 14-years of ranking cars off of the point system created by Strategic Vision. The Sonata even beat out the competitors that were categorized as luxury vehicles.
“When the data came back on the 2011 Hyundai Sonata, it was so impressive it prompted us to re-examine the data several times to be certain,” said Strategic Vision President Alexander Edwards. “The findings were solid with particular superiority with owners ranking Value for Money, Technical Innovation, Standard Equipment, Fuel Economy and great Warranty all wrapped in a vehicle with eye-catching styling.”
The 2011 Sonata features new Theta II 2.4 –liter gasoline direct injection, 198 standard horsepower, HD Radio Technology, Bluetooth, and XM Satellite Radio. The 2011 Sonata is the complete package- and starts at a price that Alexandria Hyundai drivers will love- just $19,195.
“Consumer response to the all-new 2011 Sonata shows the strong appeal of Hyundai’s recipe of bold design, great quality, a segment-best 35 miles per gallon, and outstanding residual values,” said Mike O’Brien, vice president, Corporate and Strategic Planning, Hyundai Motor America.
